Description

The Inyo National Forest is soliciting proposals for a wild horse drive-trap gather to capture and remove 450 wild horses. The project area is located approximately 10 miles east of Lee Vining, CA, and 40 miles north of Bishop, CA, encompassing 835,000 acres within the Mono Lake Ranger District. The scope of work includes the humane capture, handling, care, feeding, and transportation of these wild horses.
