Material Laboratory Services for Anniston Army Depot

The Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) requires comprehensive materials testing and analysis services to support its maintenance, repair, overhaul, and modernization operations. This includes processing and testing weld procedure qualification samples according to various industry and military standards, such as tensile testing, bend testing, chemical analysis, and hardness testing. The contractor will also be responsible for materials identification using techniques like Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), providing detailed reports for each service. The scope encompasses a wide range of testing for metals, polymers, and coatings, including corrosion testing, plating analysis, and failure analysis, all performed in accordance with applicable standards and industry best practices. Non-destructive testing (NDT) services, such as Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT), may also be required if ANAD's in-house equipment is unavailable.
