Freys Drive Bridge Replacement Project

Spartanburg County is soliciting bids for the Freys Drive Bridge Replacement Project. The scope of work includes various construction activities such as tree work, clearing and grubbing, demolition and removal of the existing bridge, grading, fine grading, pile driving, concrete work, asphalt paving, guard rail installation, setting precast bridge beams, and implementing sediment and erosion control measures, followed by grass and vegetative mat installation. Additionally, the project requires the contractor to relocate eight existing solid concrete bridge beams approximately 0.3 miles north and set them on the ground. This relocation effort will necessitate coordination with the engineer and the property owner. The contractor will be responsible for the disposal of the existing double tee beams.
