The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is soliciting services for tree seed extraction, processing, and germination testing for the Walter Horning Seed Orchard near Colton, Oregon, and the Travis Tyrrell Seed Orchard near Lorane, Oregon. These services are essential for meeting reforestation standards. The contract will be a one-year, firm-fixed-price commercial item services contract. Contractors can bid on services for one or both orchards. The scope of work includes transporting cones from BLM facilities to the contractor's facility, organizing bulk and clonal lots, extracting, processing, cleaning, and packaging seeds.
