Library Strategic Facility Plan

Washington County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to develop a comprehensive Library Strategic Facility Plan. This plan will guide the county's decision-making and investment over the next fifteen years concerning the condition of current library buildings, built environment needs, and equitable access to library services. The plan will identify facilities requiring remodeling, expansion, or replacement, and address geographical and population-based gaps in library locations throughout the county. The scope of work includes project management, development of accessibility standards, inventory of existing facilities, demographic and trend analysis, stakeholder engagement, defining a vision for service delivery, gap analysis, and providing prioritized recommendations for facility investments. Deliverables will include a Stakeholder Engagement Plan, a Final Report, and presentation materials.
