]CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support Provider
The College of DuPage (COD) is soliciting proposals from qualified and certified training providers to deliver CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) instruction for its CEJA program participants. These training courses are a required component of the CEJA program and must be delivered in person for each cohort. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a minimum of three hours of combined CPR and First Aid training per cohort, including BLS instruction that meets current industry standards. Each participant who successfully completes the training will receive a BLS Provider Certificate and a BLS Provider Manual. The training must be conducted fully in person, including hands-on skills practice, individual use of CPR manikins, and supplemental video-based instruction. All necessary instructional materials and equipment will be provided by the vendor. Training services are required for eight cohorts during the contract period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Each cohort is anticipated to have between 10 and 25 participants. The training sessions will be held at the CEJA Aurora Workforce Hub in Aurora, Illinois. Vendors must demonstrate experience in providing CPR, First Aid, and BLS training and be authorized to issue BLS Provider certifications by a recognized certifying body.
