Description

The Office of Academic Exchange Programs, part of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), is inviting proposals for the design and implementation of the FY 2026 Study of U.S. Institutes Madeleine K. Albright Young Women Leaders Program (Albright SUSIs). This program will consist of four separate institutes, each lasting approximately five weeks, to be held in the summer of 2027. Two institutes will focus on "Economic Prosperity and Growth," and two will focus on "Governance and Security." Each institute will host a cohort of approximately 20 foreign undergraduate students, aged 18-25, for a total of about 80 participants. The program structure includes an approximately four-week academic residency at a U.S. educational institution and an approximately one-week integrated academic field experience in a distinct U.S. region. The institutes are intended to highlight American success and innovation relevant to their themes and should include opportunities for continued engagement after participants return home. The selected award recipient will be responsible for the overall planning, oversight, and implementation of these four institutes.
