Description

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Propulsion Sustainment Division is seeking information from potential sources that can provide used serviceable or used unserviceable AE2100 and AE3007 series engines. The Air Force intends to acquire approximately 47 engines. Acceptable common core variants include AE2100A, AE2100D2, AE2100D3, and AE3007A2, with secondary consideration for other AE engine family variants. Engines should be free of visible corrosion and physical damage, operated by no more than one U.S. flagged carrier or operator, and must be provided with all operation and maintenance records from the date of manufacture. Key components to be included are the Compressor Variable Vane Actuator Assembly, Compressor Assembly, Gas Generator (High Pressure) Turbine Assembly, Power Turbine (Low Pressure) Assembly, Fuel System Assembly, Lube System Assembly, Air System Assembly, Engine Monitoring System Assembly, and Engine Control System. Companies interested in providing these engines are asked to detail their current inventory, availability timelines, engine condition, and their ability to provide traceability and documentation.
