Contractor Field Service Representatives for T700 Series Engines
DEPT OF THE ARMY
The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal intends to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the Aviation Turbine Engine Project Office to General Electric-Aerospace. This requirement is for highly specialized logistical and technical services to support General Electric (GE) T700 Series engines. Contractor Field Service Representatives (CFSRs) will provide on-site logistical and technical support for these engines, both OCONUS and CONUS, by factory-trained technicians. The Government does not possess a complete Technical Data Package (TDP) for the T700 series engine. The vendor is expected to maintain an office with technical, logistics, and contracting personnel in the Huntsville, AL vicinity, and all software and hardware must have Government Purpose Rights (GPR). This effort is anticipated to be a sole source award on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis, with an estimated 60-month period of performance. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide the requested services and their technical knowledge of the T700 series engine. Proprietary information must be marked accordingly, and the Government will not reimburse for any information provided.
