The City of Pontiac, located in Oakland County, Michigan, operates under a charter amended in 1982 and manages various governmental, special revenue, capital, internal service, and custodial funds. The City's fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30, and financial transactions are managed using the BS&A system.
