The California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) requires backup instant coffee packaging services for its Coffee Roasting Enterprise located at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform these services. This includes picking up instant coffee from the CALCTRA warehouse at Mule Creek State Prison, packaging regular caffeinated and/or decaffeinated instant coffee into 1.5-gram packets, providing boxes for packaging, and delivering the finished cases back to the prison warehouse. Each case should contain 1,000 individual packets, and finished cases must be marked with the CALCTRA instant coffee item number and packaging date. Services are to be performed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, except State holidays, or as directed by the CALCTRA Project Representative. The contractor must have at least five years of experience with similar services and will be evaluated on past performance and experience.
