Mobile Airport Authority
The Mobile Airport Authority is requesting qualifications for professional services in several categories, including Civil Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Airport Planner, Architect, Appraisal Specialist, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Specialist. The selected firms will provide consulting services for federal/state grant projects and locally funded projects planned between 2026 and 2029, or as determined by the Authority. Submittals must be on GSA Form SF330. Services for Civil Engineers, Environmental Engineers, and Airport Planners will encompass planning, engineering design, material testing, field surveys, construction plans and specifications, construction engineering and inspection, environmental permitting, analysis, planning, design, financial planning, and program services. Architects will focus on terminal building modifications and expansions, roadway and parking improvements, industrial/commercial buildings, and hangar construction. Appraisers will be responsible for airport property maps, property rights appraisal for acquisition, and long-term land acquisition program planning. Potential projects over the next three years include runway and taxiway construction/rehabilitation, land acquisition, lighting and marking, wetlands and stormwater studies, ramp and apron construction, drainage studies, environmental mitigation, demolition, grading, highway/road/bridge design, perimeter road and fence construction, airfield/cargo/terminal design, procurement of equipment and vehicles, DBE studies, and sustainability projects. Four copies of each submittal are required, clearly marked with the company name and opening time/date, and must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on June 23, 2026, to 1891 Ninth Street, Mobile, AL 36615, or hand-delivered to the same address. The Mobile Airport Authority reserves the right to waive formalities and ensure fair opportunity for DBEs.
