MIFC Door Replacement

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the removal and installation of two new doors at the Minnesota Interagency Fire Center in Itasca County. The project includes replacing an existing exterior metal door with a new ADA-compliant metal door and frame, and an interior wood door with a new ADA-compliant fire-rated wood door and frame. Both doors will feature ADA-compliant hardware, including electric locking capabilities, and will have protective plates at the bottom. The exterior door will have a vision light, and the interior door will have a vision glass window. The project also requires the installation of manual door operators and push buttons for accessibility, along with necessary wiring to existing electrical and security systems. The work is scheduled to commence on or after June 1, 2026, with final completion required by July 31, 2026.
