News Clip Services for Department of Transportation

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Secretary, Office of Public Affairs (OPA) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive news clip services. This includes real-time monitoring and search capabilities of broadcast, online, and social media, along with the ability to track media campaign success. The contractor will be responsible for providing daily news briefings, aggregating news from national and regional print and broadcast media, and analyzing coverage to inform DOT leadership. The services required encompass a wide range of media monitoring, including print publications, online news, broadcast media (television and radio), blogs, microblogs, and social media platforms. The contractor must also provide access to a North American media database, facilitate the distribution of press releases, and offer social media management tools. An analytics tool for tracking media campaign progress and success, including charts, graphs, and reach statistics, is also required. The contract will be for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with a five-year period of performance, consisting of one base year and four one-year option periods. The award will be made on a Best Value basis.
