The City of Lynn is seeking bids from licensed elevator service companies to provide comprehensive annual inspection, maintenance, and repair services for elevators located in all of the city's school and municipal buildings. The contract is anticipated to commence on June 15, 2026. Specifications for this opportunity will be available starting April 22, 2026, from the Lynn City Hall Purchasing Department, Room 206, at 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Interested parties can also obtain specifications via email or mail by contacting the purchasing department at 781-586-6893 or purchasing@lynnma.gov. Specifications will be available until the bid due date. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bid #03-669 - Elevator Services" to the purchasing department before 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read immediately after submission. All bidders must possess a Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) "Certificate of Eligibility" (DCAMM Form CQ-7) and a "Contractor Update Statement" (DCAMM Form CQ-3) for the "Elevators" category. A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the City of Lynn, is required. The awarded contractor will be required to provide a 100% Payment and Performance Bond for the total bid amount. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 and the minimum prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 SSSS 26 - 27D.
