Helicopter Maintenance and Repair Services

The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for comprehensive helicopter maintenance and repair services. This includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs for their fleet of up to six Airbus AS350B3 or AS350B3e helicopters. Services will be performed at various CHP Air Operations Units throughout California, or potentially at the contractor's facility. The contract requires the contractor to provide all necessary personnel, labor, equipment, tools, supplies, and insurance, and to possess a valid FAA-approved repair station certificate. Key personnel must be FAA certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licensed mechanics with at least three years of experience maintaining turbine helicopters. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid.
