M48 Filter Coating and Painting Services

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, on behalf of Pine Bluff Arsenal, is seeking services for the cleaning, coating, and painting of M48 filter components. This is an "as needed" service with deliveries spread over the life of the contract. The work involves applying chromate conversion coating and, in some cases, painting the components in specific colors (Green 383 CAMO or Tan 686A CAMO). The solicitation includes detailed specifications for various filter parts, including the Cap, Filter Inlet; Filter Body, Outlet Assembly; Outer Mesh Assy.; Inner Mesh Assy.; Outer Gas Mesh Assy.; and Channel. Salt fog testing will be required to verify corrosion resistance. The contract will have a base year and one option year. The quantities for each part number vary across different CLINs and ordering periods, with minimum guaranteed quantities and maximum quantities specified. The place of performance and delivery is FOB Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas. A Certificate of Conformance will be required with each shipment, along with documentation for chemicals and paints used. The contractor will also need to submit a Property Management Plan within 30 days of award.
