Financial Audit for Fiscal Years 2022-2025

Pulaski County is soliciting proposals from independent accounting firms to conduct a comprehensive financial audit for fiscal years 2022 through 2025. The audit will encompass all financial statements, and the selected firm will be expected to provide an engagement letter detailing staff assignments, time schedules, and the audit scope and approach. Pulaski County staff will furnish all necessary work-paper schedules to facilitate the audit process. The auditor will be required to express opinions on all provided documentation and submit a management letter with recommendations for improving operational and accounting procedures and controls. Additionally, the selected firm will provide technical assistance on accounting matters and related reporting or control issues throughout the year, presenting audit reports and communications at formal monthly Quorum Court meetings. The contract is expected to be for three years with an option for one 3-year renewal.
