The Open Challenge Program 9.0, hosted by OctaNE CoE Guwahati, invites startups and entrepreneurs to develop innovative IoT-based solutions for agriculture. This program focuses on areas such as smart farming, precision agriculture, automated irrigation, sensor-based monitoring, AI-driven analytics, and drone technology. The initiative aims to incubate startups in the agritech sector, foster a strong ecosystem through mentorship and funding, and develop solutions to enhance agricultural productivity and efficiency. Support includes strategic networking, seed funding, mentorship, training, marketing assistance, patent facilitation, and access to incubation facilities. Eligible applicants must be registered as Private Limited Companies, Registered Partnership Firms, or Limited Liability Partnerships in India, incorporated within the last 10 years, with an annual turnover not exceeding Rs. 100 crore. The business must be focused on innovation, development, or improvement of agritech products, services, or processes with potential for employment generation and economic growth.
