]http://centrevillepress.com/images/index.htmlThis project involves the installation of guardrails at four distinct locations in Bibb County, Alabama: Thomas Mill Road at Copperas Creek (Site 1), Copperas Creek Crossing at Copperas Creek (Site 2), Big Barn Road at Affonee Creek (Site 3), and CR-24 from a point southeast of the Cahaba River Bridge to the junction of Lutz Lane (Site 4). The total length of the work is 0.760 miles. The entire project must be completed within forty-five (45) working days. Bidders must be prequalified by the Alabama Department of Transportation. A bid bond for 5% of the bid, with a maximum of $50,000.00, made payable to the Alabama Department of Transportation, is required. Minimum wage rates are pre-determined by the Secretary of Labor. This project is subject to the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act.
