Transformers for Greenville Utilities Commission

Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) is soliciting bids for the supply of approximately two (2) 2,000 KVA three-phase padmount transformers. These transformers are specified as three-phase, 60 Hz, with a 65-degree Celsius rise and a 95 KV BIL rating. The primary voltage is 12470/7200 volts, and the secondary voltage is 480Y/277 volts. Key features include a dead front radial feed design, high voltage ESNA wells, parking stands, overload protection, and specific secondary compartment dimensions. The transformers must comply with ANSI standards and include accessories such as a liquid level gauge, pressure-vacuum gauge, pressure relief valve, dial type thermometer, and straddle taps. Bidders must provide guaranteed average no-load and load losses, and specify the manufacturer. Delivery time is a critical factor, with a requirement for delivery within twenty (20) weeks or less. Award will be based primarily on the lowest estimated total ownership cost (TOC) using a provided formula, with consideration for delivery time and past performance.
