Air Quality Approval for Parker Hannifin Corporation Facility Modifications

Parker Hannifin Corporation, located at their Ogden Aircraft Control Systems Facility in Ogden, Utah, has submitted a Notice of Intent for modifications to their manufacturing processes. The proposed project includes the addition of three (3) metal machining units and the removal of a cadmium electroplating line. These modifications are part of their operations which involve general metallic machining, coating, cleaning, and specialized finishing. The company operates various boilers for heating purposes. An engineering evaluation and air quality impact analysis have been conducted, indicating that the proposed project complies with federal air quality regulations and State air quality rules. The Director intends to issue an Approval Order following a 30-day public comment period.
