Description

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a firm experienced in light rail systems engineering and asset management. The selected firm will perform a gap assessment of RTD's light rail systems asset information against the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Transit Asset Management Systems Handbook (Guidance). Following the gap assessment, the firm will develop a plan with actionable recommendations to achieve compliance with the Guidance. The deliverables include the gap assessment report and the implementation plan. Proposals should detail the methodology for both the gap assessment and the plan development. RTD is a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) 4307 grant recipient and Tier I public transit agency required to comply with Transit Asset Management (TAM) requirements.
