Elevator Maintenance Services

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, through its Purchasing Services Department, is seeking proposals for comprehensive elevator, escalator, and lift maintenance services. This contract will cover all-inclusive service for the vertical transportation equipment, ensuring they are maintained in first-quality operating condition and comply with all applicable safety codes and standards, including the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Code. The scope of work includes regular inspections, examinations, lubrication, testing, cleaning, adjustments, and both major and minor repairs. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary parts, materials, and equipment for repairs and routine maintenance, with specific response times for parts delivery and emergency services. The contract will have an initial term of five years, with options for up to five additional one-year renewals.
