Airboat Engine Purchase and Installation

The State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources, is soliciting bids for a new 2026 or newer GM Pleasurecraft Levitator MS.80 6.2L Supercharged Engine assembly, or a DNR-approved comparable. The engine must be installed on a 2020 Gale Marine Ice Hull Airboat for use on Minnesota waters. The installation must be completed no later than June 30, 2026. The contractor must be located within 100 miles of 650 Highway 169, Tower, MN 55790. The scope of work includes removal of the old engine, installation of the new engine with all necessary parts and fluids, and training on equipment operation. The offered engine must meet specific horsepower, torque, fuel system, and weight specifications, and include the manufacturer's standard warranty of at least two years. The contractor will be the sole point of contact for warranty work.
