Duct Tape Procurement

The United States Navy is soliciting offers for duct tape. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. Technical documents, including drawings and specifications, are available through the logistics.unnpp.gov website, which requires pre-registration and a password. Interested parties should contact the E-Commerce Help Desk at 518-395-4357 for registration or login assistance. Hard copies of technical documentation will not be mailed. All contractual documents will be considered 'issued' upon electronic transmission, facsimile, or mail. Section C of the contract will take precedence over Section D in case of conflict. Quality assurance requirements are detailed in the Individual Repair Part Ordering Data (IRPOD). Packaging requirements are specified, including clarifications on MIL-PRF-23199 and the use of MIL-DTL-24466 green poly bags, with specific conditions for their application. Fire retardant packaging material is no longer required. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are prohibited.
