Water Main Replacement Project

The Lowndes County Water Authority is soliciting bids for the Water Main Replacement Project. This project involves replacing approximately 7,580 feet of existing water mains with new 6-inch and 3-inch PVC water main and necessary appurtenances. The estimated cost for this project is $300,000, with a contract time of 90 days. Bidding documents can be obtained from DHA Engineering, LLC, located at 2323 W. Main Street Ste. 227B, Dothan, AL 36301. Prospective bidders can pick up physical copies for a non-refundable production cost of $100 or obtain digital copies via email at no cost. Bidding documents can also be examined at the Lowndes County Water Authority Office at 641 Hwy 21 South, Hayneville, AL 36040. All bidders must register as an official plan holder with the engineer no later than 48 hours prior to the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all bids. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders, and bidders must submit proof of qualifications.
