Fresh Produce Supply for School Nutrition Programs

Ogden City School District (OSD) is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to provide fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables for their various nutrition programs, including the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), After School Snack Programs (ASSP), and Seamless Summer Option (SSO). The contract will initially cover approximately half of OSD's produce needs, sourced locally within Utah, domestically, and internationally. The selected supplier must also demonstrate the capability to supply all of OSD's fresh produce requirements should the district discontinue its participation in the Department of Defense (DoD) fruit and vegetable program. OSD intends to contract with a single supplier for all produce needs for its schools.
