Description

The Pima County Commission on Trial Court Appointments has one vacancy for residents of District Two, represented by Supervisor Matt Heinz. This commission is responsible for screening applicants for Pima County Superior Court Judicial Positions. Members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Arizona Senate. Applicants must meet the following requirements: be a resident of Arizona for at least five years, a resident of District Two for at least one year, a registered voter willing to disclose political party affiliation (or No Preference), not hold a paid elective or appointed governmental position, and not be a judge, retired judge, or lawyer admitted to practice in Arizona.
