Maintenance of Existing Fiber Optic Wide Area Networks for Multiple School Districts

Nassau BOCES is soliciting bids for the maintenance of existing fiber optic Wide Area Networks (WANs) for multiple school districts. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2031, encompassing a base period and option years. Pricing is based on a time and materials model, with hourly rates to be provided for different service hours and days, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, across three distinct contract years. Bidders must adhere to prevailing wage guidelines. Route maps for specific districts such as Baldwin, Manhasset, Hewlett-Woodmere, and Plainview-Old Bethpage are provided as appendices. Successful bidders will be required to furnish performance and labor and material payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total of installation and the first 12 months of recurring monthly charges. Additionally, vendors must submit an Insurance Certificate as per the bid specifications and acknowledge adherence to Terms and Conditions, Non-Collusion Certification, and the Iran Divestment Act Certification.
