Aerial Lift, Crane, and Forklift Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair Services

The State of Rhode Island is soliciting proposals for qualified vendors specializing in the repair, service, inspection, and maintenance of motorized aerial and hoisting equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, hoisting equipment, personnel lifts, bucket trucks, construction cranes, and forklifts. The contract will have an initial term of three years, with the possibility of two additional 12-month renewal periods based on vendor performance and funding availability. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis, with an expectation that State vehicles and equipment will be given priority for appointments, typically within five days of request. Vendors must be factory-trained and authorized by the manufacturer to perform these services. The solicitation also details extensive insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, workers' compensation, automobile liability, and potentially professional liability, technology errors and omissions, and cyber/privacy liability depending on the services provided.
