Description

The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance services for paint and sanding booths, blasting media cabinets, and the compressed air system supporting the Aircraft Structural Maintenance section at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. Services include inspection, servicing, repair, filter supply, quarterly air quality testing, and timely response to unscheduled maintenance, all in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and applicable federal, state, and Air Force standards. The work must comply with National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, and base access/security requirements. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor. This includes servicing and maintaining air makeup units, VFD exhaust fan motors, electrical components, and the structural integrity of the booths and auxiliary structures. For blasting media cabinets, the contractor will perform scheduled maintenance and inspections, maintain seals, filters, and electrical components, and ensure proper function of safety features. For the facility compressed air system, services include oil level checks, filter servicing, condensate draining, and ensuring proper operation of compressors and air dryers. Air quality testing for the breathing air system is also required quarterly. This is a Sources Sought Notice to gather market information and determine the method of procurement. Interested firms capable of providing these services are requested to submit a capabilities package by Friday, June 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM CST. Responses should include an overview of the firm's ability to provide the services, management and labor resources, three past performance references, details on subcontracting, relevant experience, and any teaming arrangements.
