Ultra-High Efficiency Condensing Boiler Replacement

The Caddo-Bossier Parishes Port Commission is soliciting bids for the replacement of an existing 2,000,000 BTU/hr gas-fired condensing boiler. The scope of work includes the removal of the old unit and the installation of a new unit of equal capacity. The preferred model is the Fulton Endure XE 2000, which features 97.5% thermal efficiency, a 15:1 turndown ratio, and various warranties including a 10-year heat exchanger warranty and a 5-year burner warranty. Alternate manufacturers such as Aerco or other pre-approved equals will be considered if they meet or exceed all specified performance criteria. The project requires the contractor to provide all necessary labor and materials for the installation, including connecting to existing hydronic, gas, and condensate piping, as well as electrical and building automation systems. Testing and certification of the new unit are also required. Bidders must submit their bids as a lump sum using the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form. The Caddo-Bossier Parishes Port Commission is exempt from local and state taxes.
