Poultry Products for Department of Adult Correction

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) seeks competitive bids from qualified vendors to supply and deliver poultry products, including chicken breast trim meat, boneless/skinless chicken thighs, chicken legs, and turkey thighs. These products will be used at the Correction Enterprise Meat Processing Plant to fulfill dietary requirements. The contract will have an initial term of six months, beginning July 1, 2026, with the option for an additional six-month renewal. Deliveries are to be made Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to specified locations within North Carolina, with a required delivery timeframe of ten consecutive calendar days after receipt of a purchase order. Vendors must comply with all USDA, NCDA, and FDA standards, and provide necessary documentation such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS), nutritional analysis, and a Letter of Guarantee upon award.
