Public Housing Waiting List Application

The Williamsburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority (WRHA) will be accepting online applications for its Public Housing Waiting List on May 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST. Applications will be accepted for 1-bedroom units (for elderly and disabled individuals only), as well as 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-bedroom family units. All applications must be submitted electronically through the WRHA's online portal at https://www.williamsburgva.gov/phapplication. Fax, email, or mail submissions will not be accepted. Applicants must use a desktop, laptop, tablet, or cell phone with adequate storage and updated software. A valid email address is required to apply. Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities or emancipated minors who are unable to complete the electronic application will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Requests for reasonable accommodations will be accepted on May 13 and May 20, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EST.
