Head and Insert Assembly

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support is seeking to identify potential sources for Head and Insert Assemblies (NSN 2915-006734905). This requirement is intended to result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract, with PTI TECHNOLOGIES INC (05228) listed as the approved source under P/N 59461. The DLA will use the responses to this Sources Sought Notice to determine the most appropriate procurement method. Interested parties should submit their organization's name, address, contact information, size, and type of ownership, along with a tailored capability statement with supporting documentation. If subcontracting or teaming is anticipated, details on the management structure should be included. The government will evaluate capabilities based on scope, scale, resource availability, project management proficiency (including schedule compliance, cost containment, performance tracking, personnel management, and risk mitigation), and ability to perform under a performance-based service acquisition contract. Companies wishing to be considered an "Approved Source" must submit an application package through the Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. Requests for SAR drop-off information should be emailed to dlaavnsmallbus@dla.mil, indicating "Request SAR drop-off" in the subject line and including a point of contact, NSN, and Cage Code in the body of the email. Depending on the market research outcomes, this requirement may be set aside for Small Business or procured through Full and Open Competition, with the possibility of multiple awards.
