Health Insurance for Embassy Staff

The U.S. Embassy in Nicosia, Cyprus is planning to issue a solicitation for health insurance for locally employed staff. The estimated number of employees is 157 with approximately 404 eligible dependents. The anticipated performance is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. The government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
