Avenue B Reconstruction Phase 2

The City of Council Bluffs Public Works Engineering Division is seeking bids for the Avenue B Reconstruction Phase 2 project. This project involves extensive work including pavement replacement (PCC, 8 Inch), subbase installation, sidewalk construction (PCC, 4 Inch), and the installation of various sizes of storm sewers (15, 18, and 24 inch RCP and Class IV). Additionally, the project includes the installation of storm sewer manholes and intakes, as well as sanitary sewer gravity mains (PVC SDR-35, 15 Inch) and sanitary sewer manholes. Water main improvements are also part of this project, including 8-inch DIP water main installation and associated fittings, valves, and fire hydrants. Pavement markings are also included. The work is scheduled to commence on or after August 10, 2026, with a completion deadline of July 9, 2027. Specific phases and sections of the work have intermediate completion dates, including a section to be completed by November 13, 2026, and Stage 1A and Stage 1B work with defined completion timelines within the overall project period.
