On-Call Environmental Assessment Services

The City and County of Denver is soliciting proposals for on-call environmental assessment services. These services will supplement the Division of Environmental Quality's efforts in areas such as environmental site assessment, brownfields redevelopment, leaking underground storage tank removal and remediation, remediation and oversight, emergency response support, environmental litigation support, and NEPA HUD support. The scope of work includes performing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in compliance with EPA and ASTM standards, preparing reports for Categorical Exclusion forms, and conducting investigations for contaminated sites. The services also encompass brownfields redevelopment assistance, including technical project documents and investigation/remediation activities for various contaminated sites. Leaking underground storage tank services require the consultant to be a Recognized Environmental Professional listed by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment Oil and Public Safety. Remediation services may involve preparing design plans, conducting investigations, and overseeing engineered systems. Emergency response support and environmental litigation support are also included. Background checks are required for all personnel, and certain City locations may require additional NCIC or CJIS background checks. Airport security compliance is also a material requirement if work is performed at the airport. Vendors are encouraged to describe any environmentally preferable purchasing attributes of their goods or services.
