City of Evanston Zoning Update

The City of Evanston's Community Development Department is seeking proposals from experienced firms for a comprehensive zoning update. This project aims to revise and modernize the city's zoning regulations. A non-mandatory virtual pre-proposal meeting will be held on April 30, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. via Google Meet to discuss the project scope and answer questions. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. Proposals must be submitted electronically through DemandStar (www.demandstar.com) by 2:00 P.M. local time on June 2, 2026. Registration on DemandStar is required, but downloading solicitations and uploading responses is free. Firms must also submit a Disclosure of Ownership Interest Statement Form in accordance with Section 1-18-1 et seq. of the City Code; failure to do so may result in disqualification. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to accept the submittal deemed most advantageous.
