Description

This project involves the renovation of the existing softball and baseball fields at Henrico High School, located at 302 Azalea Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23227. The scope of work includes the demolition of existing fields, regrading, and the installation of a synthetic turf playing surface. The softball field will retain its current footprint and dugouts, while the baseball field will have a slightly altered footprint and new dugouts. New batting cages and bullpens will be installed for both fields, along with new LED athletic field lighting and fencing. Site work encompasses demolition, earthwork, grading, stormwater installation, and the construction of concrete sidewalks and pads. The project also requires compliance with DEQ/USACOE permits and Henrico County POD requirements, tree clearing, landscape architectural components, and site lighting. The Owner will provide the new LED light fixtures, poles, and synthetic turf. The General Contractor will be responsible for scheduling material receiving, light pole foundation, wiring, installation of the athletic field lights, and preparing the softball and baseball fields to subgrade. Addendum No. 1 has been issued for this solicitation.
