Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command is seeking quotes for the revitalization of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system supporting the First Army Headquarters at Rock Island Arsenal. The scope of work includes the replacement of critical modular components using original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts (SKU WMPR505-MP-505) from Schneider Electric. This encompasses delivery, removal of old components, installation, system configuration, and environmentally compliant disposal or recycling of old componentry. A one-year service agreement with Next Business Day response, a yearly Preventive Maintenance (PM) visit, and discounted rates for parts and labor is also required. The existing UPS system is a Schneider Electric Symmetra PX500, 480 Volts, with 108 batteries. The facility must remain operational during the revitalization, and if a temporary UPS is required to maintain power to critical loads, its cost must be included in the offeror's firm-fixed price. Access to Rock Island Arsenal requires a Real ID and a background check, with contractor personnel being escorted within Building 68. Preferred work hours are 0730-1600, but accommodations can be made for work outside these hours, especially if power must be cut to the building. Work is restricted on standard federal holidays. Key deliverables include a kick-off meeting, hardware delivery, installation and configuration, a testing and acceptance report, disposal documentation, and service agreement activation. Offerors must be compliant in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit a firm-fixed-price quote. Technicians must be certified by Schneider Electric for the specific revitalization kit.
