The Allen Parish Police Jury, located in Oberlin, Louisiana, is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of various construction materials and services. The materials include creosote bridge timbers, pilings, round and arched pipe, various types of rock (washed, gravel, sand-clay-gravel, compaction sand, topsoil), limestone (30 lb., 3x5, 2O/Ballast, #57, #67, #8, #610), unscreened Cal-base 5-A, Cal-sorb Bed Ash, and Portland for soil cement. Additionally, bids are requested for liquid asphalt (CRS-2, CRS-2-P, CSS-1) and hot mix/cold mix asphalt, with quotes to include delivery and demurrage charges where applicable. The solicitation also includes a requirement for furnishing equipment and labor to lay hot mix asphalt for small projects. All bids will be for a six-month period, commencing July 1st through December 31st, 2026, unless otherwise specified.
