Auction Services for Municipal Surplus Property, Equipment, and Vehicles

The County of Rockland, acting as the lead agency for the Empire State Cooperative Procurement Alliance (ESCPA), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional auction services. These services will be used for the sale and disposal of surplus municipal personal property, equipment, and vehicles. The contract awarded through this Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available for use by Rockland County and, in accordance with New York State General Municipal Law §103(3), can also be utilized by other political subdivisions, school districts, BOCES, special districts, and authorized entities across New York State. This RFP aims to establish a county-awarded cooperative contract that offers statewide utility, similar to a New York State contract, while remaining a contract of the County of Rockland. Services related to real estate auctions are specifically excluded from this solicitation and may be addressed in a future, separate solicitation.
