Description

The National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center, is requesting qualifications from firms to provide general engineering and supporting services under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This contract will cover a variety of projects within Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The majority of services will be engineering in nature, and firms must demonstrate in-house or subcontracted multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering capabilities. Familiarity with NPS conservation, historic preservation, accessibility, and sustainable design principles is encouraged. The NPS intends to award a Multiple Award Task Order IDIQ contract to at least three firms considered most highly qualified. The scope of work includes design services for various projects such as aquatic organism passage structures, dams, buildings, drainage systems, electrical and mechanical systems, historic structures, marine facilities, pavement design, renewable energy systems, recreation facilities, and transportation infrastructure. Services may also include advance project planning, development of design-build RFP packages, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, construction management support, environmental compliance analysis, and value engineering studies. Firms must demonstrate the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with regulatory agencies. Key personnel must include registered professional architects and engineers in specified disciplines, and firms must acknowledge willingness to seek out additional required disciplines.
