Description

This project involves correcting failing plumbing conditions in Building 1 at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System. The scope includes removing dead leg piping, re-applying insulation, installing chlorination injection stations, increasing water heater temperatures, extending domestic hot water recirculation piping, replacing recirculation pumps, installing a chiller system with associated pumps and heat exchangers, insulating chilled water piping, and installing a continuous monitoring system for water quality. The estimated construction magnitude is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000, with an estimated completion period of 1095 days. This amendment provides a revised Statement of Work with a corrected work site address, schedules a second site visit, and extends the RFI and proposal deadlines.
