Furnishing 115 kV Circuit Breakers and Major Materials for East Substation

Watertown Municipal Utilities is soliciting sealed bids for the furnishing of major electrical substation materials. The required equipment includes 115 kV Circuit Breakers, 115 kV GOAB Switches, 115 kV CVTs, and Lightning Arresters, all in accordance with the provided specifications and proposed form of contract. Bid forms and specifications can be obtained from DGR Engineering. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bank draft for five percent (5%) of the total bid, or a Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the total bid issued by a surety authorized to do business in South Dakota. The bid security will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract and post Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after award. Bids must be clearly marked "BID ENCLOSED - FURNISHING 115 kv circuit breakers and major materials - east substation" on the outside of the envelope. Watertown Municipal Utilities reserves the right to defer acceptance of bids for up to thirty (30) days and to waive irregularities or reject any or all bids.
