Description

The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MassAbility) is seeking qualified individuals to provide individual and group tutoring services for participants of the MassAbility program. MassAbility aims to improve literacy for individuals with learning disabilities and other disabilities, augment the development of academic and vocational skills, and prepare individuals for Hi-SET (GED) testing. Tutors are encouraged to have experience working with individuals with disabilities. Qualified individuals must have a bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in the area in which the tutoring is being provided, or an associate's degree or three years' work experience in the field, or teacher certification or three years' experience providing tutoring for individuals or small groups. All qualified individuals must have a satisfactory CORI report to receive a contract.
