This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest (DSW) Region, for sewer line remediation and replacement at the Mead Substation in Clark County, Nevada. The project falls under NAICS code 237110 with a size standard of $45 million. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated, with an estimated project magnitude between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The scope of work includes providing alternate restroom facilities during construction, locating all existing underground utilities and ground grid using ground penetrating radar (with hand digging for ground grid uncovering), cleaning and flushing the existing 4" cast iron building drain (approximately 85' long), installing a NU Flow NU Drain Cured in Place Pipe Liner (or approved equal) in the existing 4" cast iron building drain, installing a 4" SDR 35 PVC or SCH 40 ABS sewer line using pipe bursting technology (approximately 409' long), and removing and replacing one 2-way sewer clean-out and four 1-way sewer clean-outs. The sewer line replacement will be leak tested per I.P.C. Section 312 and 312.6.
