Data and Voice Cabling Services

Arapahoe County is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide data and voice cabling services. These services will support new construction projects, facility renovations, and ongoing moves, adds, and changes across County-owned and leased facilities. The scope of work includes installation of data and voice cabling systems (CAT6 or better), wire terminations, patch panels, racks, conduit, testing and certification of all cable drops, and compliance with industry standards and applicable codes. Vendors must provide detailed estimates for each request and complete work within mutually agreed-upon timelines. Vendors must be able to support small, medium, and large jobs, with typical response times of within one week for small jobs and scheduled in advance for larger ones. Mandatory offeror qualifications include proof of certified cable installers, a minimum of three years in business, a local office within the Denver Metro area, and acknowledgement that employees may be required to pass background checks for work in secure facilities. The county intends to establish a multi-year contract with one or more vendors, with an initial one-year term and four (4) additional one-year option periods.
